Multitaskers

ATTENTION ALL PRO-MULTITASKERS

The next time someone brags about what a great multitasker they are...
You may want to let them know that they are actually paying a big mental price!

Research shows that people who regularly consume multiple forms of media simultaneously,
(Listening to an Ipod, sending instant messages, checking E-mails and watching an online video)
consistently perform worse than those who prefer to complete one task at a time.

Gasps.

According to U.S. researchers,
a team from Stanford University put 100 students through a series of 3 tests.
They found that,
the heavy media multitaskers were not able to pay attention, control their memory or switch from one job to another as successfully as the low multitasking group.

Multitaskers are "suckers for irrelevancy",
said study co-author Clifford Nass.
"Everything distracts them."

Holy damn! It's true!
I easily get distracted. =X
No wonder I have such a freaking bad memory!
T.T
ARGH!
